Meet Erin
Welcome! I'm Erin Gibb, the face, heart, and hands of HomesyCo. My 15 years of experience as a therapist and mindfulness teacher, 10 years growing flowers, and my re-emergence as an artist, have all shown me the deep need we have for presence, beauty, nature and creativity in order to thrive.
HomesyCo is my love letter to the world through creating in alignment with nature. This looks like chemical free flower farming and floral design, organic handpoured candles in vintage containers, original visual art and video creation on our 3-acres of land.
HomesyCo is also a manifestation of my deep passion for health and wellbeing. Did you know that almost every flower or candle you purchase in North America poses a risk to your family's health? I'm dedicated to locally grown pesticide and herbicide free flowers, because an average of 90% of flowers sold in Canada, and 80% sold in the US have been imported and are dripping with toxins (preservatives, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, disinfectants, and chemical fertilizers).
For candles, by far the most common ingredient globally is paraffin wax which is known to pose risks to human health when burned (not to mention the fragrances you'll find in many candles that also impact health). No wonder so may people complain of headaches and allergies from these candles and flowers!
I want to feel confident that when you're buying products from HomesyCo you and the planet are receiving benefits. For you, I offer beauty, presence, creativity, and positive side effects on your mental and physical health by slowing down, and enjoying beauty in the way nature provides it (which is toxin free).
For the planet, I prioritize healthier soil, more food and homes for pollinators, less greenhouse gases, and one last way, is that 10% of ALL proceeds from HomesyCo are donated to animal rescue efforts.
